This dryer has a sensor on it and if used with the sensor setting it can tell when the clothes are dry. You will not be wasting power nor time. You can also use a timed setting for when you have heavy items such as towels. With the large capacity I was able to dry my king size comforter. I have both the washer and dryer and love them both.
