I haven't ever been a giant Zelda fan. The only one's I ever completed was the original Zelda and A Link to the Past. This one is a completely different beast. The land is huge and there is little things here and there spread all over the place to discover. Fantastic reason to own a Nintendo Switch.

When I originally watched this on TV, I was rather disappointed that it veered so far from the book. I hesitated a bit getting it on blu-ray because of that. On watching a 2nd time through, knowing what it was, I enjoyed it alot more. There are some things I still don't enjoy. It's a bit too MTV'd in spots which made my eyes roll and the acting in spots is rather bad. Still, I found it fun the 2nd time through. The video quality on this release I also thought was excellent. It was nice and crisp and popped.

Its not a drop dead laugh out loud comedy, though there are some parts that are like that. It's a bit subtle, and sweet in bits and humorous. I enjoy just about the entire cast in this.
