OK inexpensive VR

I was excited by the thought of an inexpensive non-tethered VR headset, but am unimpressed with the overall quality. Positioning the headset requires me to tighten the straps so much that it hurts my head after a while. I also don't find the resolution of the display to be all that great. Lastly, the 3D video playback is in a small area which I feel is too distant from the viewer to be effective.

Works OK with no frills

I wanted a mouse that would result in less hand fatigue while spending hours on the computer, particularly while doing Photoshop work.
I prefer wired mice - no batteries to deal with, and poor wireless mice just don't feel responsive. I like that someone still makes them with a cord.
As for usage, it is OK. It doesn't glide on my mouse pad as well as I would like, and I've got what is supposed to be a nice mousepad. It also feels a bit heavy - perhaps due to the lack of glide - and has only mildly helped with hand fatigue as far as I can tell to date.
I know this may be a lot to ask for, but I would love it if this were both larger (to fit my hand size) and lighter (to lessen fatigue), and for it to have a horizontal scroll wheel in the thumb-area. The top wheel does tilt left-right but there is only one sideways scroll speed, and it is very slow.
Still, if you are looking for a basic wired mouse, this will get the job done, though there are probably less expensive options.

Nice file archiving solution

The hard drive I use to store videos was getting full, and I wanted to archive some of the older stuff. I didn't think a full-sized desktop drive was necessary, so I bought a pair of these portable drives since performance isn't my main requirement for archiving footage.
They worked just fine, though only time will tell if they still perform well some time in the future when I need to access that archived footage.

Mac mini now has fourth-generation Intel Core processors, increased graphics performance, and ultrafast 802.11ac wireless networking. It also features two Thunderbolt 2 ports, great built-in apps, and OS X Yosemite. And it's still the world's most power-efficient desktop.

I bought this thinking that it would be a better, more powerful computer to use for Photoshopping my pictures than my aging MacBook Air. Despite being a "desktop" computer with a faster processor, it still feels slow... frustratingly slow.
It can also get quite warm, and heat up its surrounding area. If you buy one, make sure you have enough room around it for it to breathe.
I like the small form factor, but I need something more powerful so I'll be looking for a replacement.

This performs its job as a mouse pad, and it IS very thin and can roll up nicely if you're looking for that quality in a mouse pad, but otherwise I don't feel that my mouse glides all that much better on it than other pads, and the rubbery bottom surface doesn't completely keep it in place over the long haul. For the price, I expected a little better.

Great detail, but a little too video-y

Watching movies in 4K shows an amazing amount of detail, but it can also tend to make otherwise "cinematic" movies look like they were shot on video, which gives it a less "dreamworld" feel. I feel that has happened with Watchmen.
Also, despite loving the comic series, I don't think that the addition of the comic-in-a-comic story actually added to the movie version, but it is cool that they tried.
Still a good movie, but could have been done better.
