I bought this projector in a pinch for a slideshow at our reception and was planning on returning it after we used it. Turns out, it's super bright, easy to use, and unless you're SUPER picky the resolution is great!
We had a few movie nights in the backyard and it's perfect. Gigantic screen for real cheap. Get a surround sound and you good to go

I use this almost everyday! Great for handlebars, thin roll bars, poles, fences or almost everything that's round or small and square. Comes with rubber adapters for a tight fit. Definitely recommend.
Only issue is the area that holds in the screw on one side is open ended so it can be easily removed. This allows it to stretch sometimes and kinda jump and not be as tight as I'd like.

Honestly, I projected this on the side of a house no problem. Which is like 15 feet by 10 feet at least. So depending on the amount of light in the room there's almost no limitation

We will be using this at church to project power points, as well as song lyrics onto a screen. can this be turned on by a remote from the back?

what size screen do I need
The biggest you can afford/fit. I projected this on the back of my house for outdoor movie nights and it looked great.

You would need a tuner but yes you can. This projector doesn't come with a tuner
