turns out the old design is faulty

The plastic deflector on top falls off easily and the shape does not lend itself to setting a bowl underneath to neatly catch the corn as it is popped. Must try to deflect corn flying out the sides into a bowl that you are tying to hold up close to the mouth of the deflector, without knocking it off. My first hot-air popper for many years, but think I will replace it with something that works better.

What's not so great: the shape of it makes it difficult to catch the popcorn in a bowl without holding the bowl at an angle.

Again, this is a house-keeping, behind-the-scene product that one just hopes does the job without interfering too much with legitimate downloads and connections. I usually find internet security software annoying, but, of course, I am afraid to be without it. However, I never really know if what I have is providing adequate protection.
