If you're a fan of Nirvana then this album is a must have. Its very raw and grunge, sometimes crossing into metal heavy and sometimes stearing towards punk. It truly is a shame that Cobain had to go off and marry that nutjob Courtney Love, this style of Kurt was influenced by his first true love, Tracy. I encourage reading "Heavier Than Heaven." This book will help you appreciate this album more. This whole album was recorded in less than 1 day, most takes were done only once. I know what you're thinking, and no it isn't too raw, its actually a better album than "In Utero," pound for pound. The ideas are fresh and the sound is groundbreaking and the album was recorded almost 30 years ago. Nirvana truly was a great band. Remember, friends don't let friends marry whackos.
