I bought this computer as I was happy with my old Toshiba, but was soon disappointed with this one. It would lock up for no reason and want to go to a complete hard-drive reboot which took hours. It would also lose the internet connection. BB Geek Squad said it was probably a hardware issue.
I did like the pretty finish on the unit.
I was happy with BB and its' return and exchange policy to which I had no problems.

Hi, I am still getting familiar with this new laptop and the Windows 10 platform. It has been a slow process. Moving songs from downloads to the media player is not as easy as on my old computer. I think I just need to keep plugging along.
Finding the Control Panel on here has been difficult. Don't know if it's W-10 or Lenovo.
The battery life is ok. I like the tablet function, but be warned, that the computer needs to be in laptop mode to do important things such as downloading Norton Security Suite.

I think I was only able to connect this device with a set of BT headphones. The range was not good, probably about 10 feet.
I have found that these small units do better with a dedicated AC power supply, a rechargeable battery just doesn't work for me.
Took it back to BB for a refund.

This tv met our expectations with all the imputs needed so far. We wish we could easily buy the 12V adapter so we could use it in a vehicle, say at a football game.
I was pleasantly surprised at the increased volume of this tv, even w/o turning on the external sound system. A lot of tvs have very weak sound output..

As this is a relatively new item on the market, I am still finding out what is does. Essentially, it can turn an HDTV into a smart-tv of sorts. Some of the apps it currently has are You-Tube, Nexflex, Crackle, etc. with more on the way from Google as I understand. The Chromecast is still in the Beta stage.
I was really surprised about how fast it finds the app that I want to use. It is much faster than my Blu-Ray player. It is kind-of difficult to set-up, but once I did, it is a breeze to use. So far, I use it with my tablet and smartphone.
One thing I have found is that you can't really turn it off, just go to another input on your tv. Like I said, I'm still learning.

If I leave my plasma on for too long would it melt inside
i have an apex that half the screen is now black. Would leaving it on too long cause this problem?
How old is your TV ? I think the very old plasmas could have this problem. We were told never to leave a paused-screen on our older plasma for too long as burn-in would happen.
As for what to do about it, sorry, I don't know. Hope you find an answer.

No, not directly, but most Blu-ray players have apps such as I-Heart and Tune-in which allow one to access a lot of fm and am stations throughout the country and world.

can I use my 1 year old LG TV as a smart TV. by using the usb connection wifi
If your TV has an HDMI connection, you can use a Roku or Googlecast device to make your tv a "smart" one of sorts. On the google device, one can use the usb port to power the google device. Not sure on the Roku.

I need to Cut the cord once and for all, I'm aware I can use a Blu Ray DVD player equipped With Wifi to stream from Netflix, Hulu Plus, etc. however would I need a Smart TV to connect the Blue Ray or can I simply use my regular Sony Bravia TV?

Hi, I have a Blu-Ray player that I have hooked up via an HDMI connection to my older plasma tv (not a smart-tv). The items you must have are home internet , an HDMI connection, and either a Blu-Ray player or Roku, Amazon tv box, etc. In other words, something to bridge the wi-fi to your HD tv.

I wanted to purchase a smart tv but ive been hearing i have to make monthly payments on the tv to access the internet and apps.My questions is do i have to make payments for the smart tv if i own it? And how long do you think a smart tv will last?
You only have to pay for your internet connection as that is the only way my Blu-Ray can connect to the internet.
I do not have a smart tv, but I do have a Chromecast which kind-of makes my tv a smart tv. Once again, you must be connected to the internet for any of this to work.
