Any camcorder will do. If the wedding is going to be in the evening and into the night outside you will need a camcorder with a good low LUX value, at least a 3 or lower or you will need good lighting. Good quality and colors will be brought out with good light. If you are indoors be in control of the lighting, don't let someone lower the lights for "atmosphere" or your video will be grainy and pixilated. Stay away from using the digital zoom, get a camcorder with at least a 20 or 30 optical zoom. Use a tripod!! . Use a camera for your stills and the camcorder for the video and have plenty of batteries
