I have been watching the DC Animated features for 10 years now. This story had a lot of promise. This story has been visited to some extent in the Teen Titans Animated show. But the writing and dialogue felt forced and the motivation and plot points were weak in comparison to the expectation. Overall an ok movie that needed better writing.

The previous movie - Days of Future Past was much more fulfilling than this part. However, this one captures the imagination of the great villain Apocalypse. While the plot was fast-tracked some in my view, it hit all the points it needed. The movie accomplishes its target by giving great visuals and impending danger. Its a great finish to this cast.

Normally when a movie is released with Director's cuts is to extend its premise and fill in some small gaps. In the case of BvS, because the movie has some low points in its mechanics, the additional content is actually noticeable and completes some of those gaps. It becomes a better movie with better pacing.

Deadpool is a very unique character that has been in the comic books for about 25 years. A Mercenary, a hard-core killer. The character was also developed to be completely off the wall insane. Close to the Joker without the completely evil anarchist part. Ryan Reynolds has him pegged down to a T.

This entry into the DC Animated universe was waited with high expectation by me. Especially after the Batman set of animated movies like son of Batman and bad blood. However it falls short on its premise with the interaction of the titans team. It could have easily been a pseudo story from Young Justice since it had most of it characters. However Damian Wayne Robin's interaction was flat instead of antagonist. The reasoning for fighting the league was a gimmick used a million times - Raven and Trigon. It used the tired stories instead of inspired stories. The animation was solid as always. The plot not so much.

The Falcon is both a classic partner to Captain America, but the fact that they are using him everywhere, from Infinity to the Marvel movies and in the comics he is Captain America says great things about the character. In Infinity, his style is very versatile and great fun to use.
