I bought this item because the VGA input in my computer is no longer working for some reason. I host trivia in bars and I needed to connect to a VGA input to be able to connect to the TV screens in the venue. It works for what I need and I haven't had any issues. The only reason I gave it 4 stars was because it doesn't have a way to secure the VGA connection to the adapter.

Looking for a basic good quality (and fairly inexpensive) tripod that will accomodate my Nikon d3100.
