Sound a bit boring; noise canceling mediocre

For the original MSRP of over $100, the sound quality of these headphones are nothing special. Does not sound engaging at all.
The noise cancelling is also nothing special. Audio Technica and Bose both got Sony beat.
It is fairly lightweight and comfortable though.

These Bose QuietComfort 20 headphones feature Acoustic Noise Cancelling and an in-line microphone and remote for taking phone calls. Listen to surrounding sounds with Aware mode or lose yourself in the music.

best noise cancelling of its kind

Bose's active noise cancelling is noticeably better than Sony, Audio Technica, and Monster's ANC I've tried.
Battery lasts long enough for international flights (maybe even round trips).
The shortcoming though is the location of the battery/power dongle - it's so close to the connector, so you usually have to bend the connector cable and put the dongle against your phone or media player. That does put a bit stress on the cable in the longer run, especially if you often put both phone and the dongle in pocket.
The included storage case is also on the small side relative to the dongle and cable - you have to adjust the cables around so they can fit and don't get in the way in the case.
