Found this speaker on the Deal of the Day, and after looking at the many reviews decided to give it a try. Very impressed by the sound that it produces. Very clear and nice combo of both highs and bass notes. Not Bose sound quality but also not Bose pricing either. Glad I bought it. Only thing I would change is make volume changes in smaller increments. For the price I could not be more impressed.

This is my second Escort 8500 that I have owned and it is still one of the best performing radar detectors on the market. Fewer false reads and great advanced warning on most bands. My only wish is that they would improve the window suction cup mount. The sticky cup is pretty good. Highly recommend this unit.
