Average with fitting issue

I am not exactly sure how well the drying vent kit is supposed to fit my drying vent but when Best Buy was setting up my Washer & dryer, they can't use the front hook that connect the vent hose and vent. It ended up coming off a day later and they had to come back to put it back on.
