Good headphones but why do you have to charge them

We ended up taking these back as it was annoying to have to charge these all the time & they would lose their charge quickly in the middle of using them. Not sure why you have to charge a wired headphone. We stepped down to the next level down to avoid the hassle of charging. We have enough devices to keep charged as it is!
