Perfect replacement for the Google Home

I was skeptical at first when buying it as I wasn't sure if I should go with the Google Home or this Insignia with Google Assistant. I believe I made the right choice. The sound is perfect and it has just the right amount of bass. I love that it's portable so you can use it as a normal Bluetooth speaker. This is perfect for a nightstand because it has the time always displayed. I wish that the Temp was displayed at all times but I'm sure that's a Google Assistant limitation. Can't recommend this enough for someone who's up in the air about buying a Google Home or a Google Assistant.

This thing is great. The always on time is perfect for having around the house and having a quick glance at the time without having to invoke the Google Assistant. I wish that it could display the Temp. at all times but I'm it's a limitation of Google Assistant. Sound is great however if you're looking for more bass, you'd be looking at the larger version. Highly recommend this over a Google Home Mini.

If you have a Black Stainless Kitchen set from LG or the Black Stainless from Samsung, this will fit perfectly. The color is gorgeous. Three brew settings and paper or paperless to get it close to your liking. The programming is what sold me. I'm able to pour the 14 Cups of Water and add my coffee in the evening, set the time and by the time I'm awake the coffee is already made and ready to go.

Others have stated they have been having issues with setting them up. I have not seen any of these issues.
As long as you have good 2.4Ghz coverage in your home, you shouldn't have any issues with connections. As for the application, I bypassed that and use Apple HomeKit exclusively and it works just as described.

Some of the other reviews made me skeptical if these would work. After the simple installation and quick, everything worked like a breeze. Just follow the instructions and you'll be set up in no time.
You DO NOT need the Insignia Connect app, you can just use the built in HomeKit application on iOS.
