I was replacing the same machine, (same model, just 8 years newer), so I expected the same performance. Generally speaking, it is, except the spin cycle is much louder, and I can't seem to get the machine balanced (I know this is the primary reason for the loud spin cycle). A level shows it is balanced, but it still vibrates VERY badly. I had some issues with my installation process, so perhaps that's the problem. I recommend the machine, but STRONGLY urge you to be sure it is installed on top of your pedestal and all hooked up all in one day (mine was over two days).
I like the updates to the control panel.
