This is the perfect solution to an age-old question...how do I get the rear speakers in without my wife seeing a bunch of wires or patched holes in our walls to hide the run wire! My home theater could finally be completed thanks to this great product. And NO...there's no crackling or static. The sound connection is flawless.

If subwoofers do their job, it's kind of hard to even tell the difference between a good and bad one. This is clearly a good one. I like the real wood exterior and the price was right.

shut off
when i'am watching a movie or a video the rear speakers just shut off with no one breaking the beam between the two units
Having personally never had this happen after 1 year of use, I'd say your unit is defective and should be exchanged.

How can I control the volume with a remote if I hook transmitter directly to the TV?
Does the transmitter connect to the red and white audio output jacks in the back of the TV? I don't believe these are controlled by the TV's volume control. Therefore I cannot control the volume on the wireless speakers by using the TV's remote control.
These are best connected to a receiver so you have full volume and power control. These are "unintelligent" speakers w/o a controlling receiver. They do have a manual volume control knob but that's only for sound level balancing with the rest of the system's speakers.
