I can't find a better wired 2.1 system. This is a replacement after the originals bit the dust after a few parts replacements. They fixed the issue with the DIN plug in this latest version and with luck, this will last the 10 or 12 years the originals did. Outrageous value for the money.
Samsung Galaxy Note5 Cell Phone with 64GB Memory for Sprint: Built for convenience and productivity, the Note5 includes a high-precision, pressure-sensitive S Pen stylus that stays safely tucked inside the phone's body until you click it. Once you slide the S Pen out, you can write notes on the screen, regardless of whether the screen is powered on or off. Plus, the Note5 is compatible with wireless charging pads (sold separately,) letting you quickly charge the battery without a cord

Sorry, Samsung, gotta ding ya a star because there is no replacement battery. AND what good is super-fast memory, Samsung's excuse for no replaceable SD card, when the connection to the phone is USB 2?
AND you took away MHL support. Why the powerful graphics if I can't show them off on a big screen with a hardwire? There is WiFi Direct as an alternative, but this reviewer has not tried. A wired solution leaves the WiFi radio free to snag WiFi.
Furthermore, the ability to use the Web while speaking on the phone, a business essential that my old Note 2 could do while on 4g is no more.
So what remains has to be pretty darn good to make up for the aforementioned disappointments and so it is.
The battery with real world use, GPS'ing and blutoothing streaming music to the car stereo, and the occasional call yields about 8 hours. It recharges from there in about 75 minutes with the special included rapid charger.
Unlike its predecessors, it can still charge up when tasking all of the above at once on an ordinary car charger. The Note 2 would not gain a charge or would do so very slowly under this kind of load.
The camera is superior in low light and amazing in brighter environments.
Phone calls are crisp and land line-ish.
I can walk all around the hotel room or suite with the blue tooth keeping a clear connection in ear and the phone on the dresser while unpacking and keeping in touch with back home.
The stylus has learned new tricks and is a bit easier to organize notes.
Stylus to text is the best of all the Notes.
Pulling the stylus and writing a note on a locked screen is fantastic.
An unexpected bonus was the FM tuner; a nice touch when outside or at the beach wanting to keep up with some live sports.
Response wise the phone is fast and goes through screens rapidly and smoothly. Apparently it is an S6 Plus with a stylus. Both good phones. Both missing a few things. But the Note 5 filled the need to replace an aging Note 2.
Personal campaign: stop shrinking the phones already. I don't care to have the thinnest. I don't think one reader here would mind their phone being a scootch thicker in exchange for more battery time; or, a replaceable one.

I expected a seamless set up out of the box for an Apple product and that is what I got. I could not give it five stars because of missing "channels" especially Showtime. Wireless transmission from a media player or Web video from the iPad to full screen on the TV was a surprise plus.

I had to buy a tablet for work and an Apple at that. A tablet is NOT a substitute for a laptop computer. It is not an Android where you can put documents in a folder like a computer, and direct your apps there. Apple has you boxed into their world. But for what it is, it is elegant, works nicely with apps and Bluetooth and I enjoy it. It is an expensive content delivery system with some better apps and email thrown in. Word and Excel working on it now, is a plus. I would have purchased the Surface 3 first or a Samsung Android tablet second if the company software worked on those instead.

Where's the earphone jack for private listening?
If I put the sub under my desk, will I have to reach under the desk and spin the sub around any time I want to plug or unplug headphones? I'm assuming any kind of plugging in mutes the speakers for the headphones.....?
Earphone jack is on the side of one of the left or right speakers that one would assume is next to your monitor and ready for you to plug in with ease. It does shut off the speakers when you are jacked in.

Will these speakers work with Linux?
The beauty of these is that they plug into the computer's stereo headphone jack, so if you have one, they work. No matter the hardware or software, as long as something is going out to the stereo jack.
