The mixer does not appear to be made for a long term use. Seems a little toy-like. I guess time will tell. Do not like how the bowl locks into the mixer stand. Motor has been making some strange noises. I worked in restaurants for many years, used kitchen aid mixers. This mixer is a pale copy of them.
