What if my phone is on a 2 year contract and i want To upgrade early ?

Well, you would have to either buy a new phone or pay off the you have now. If you are leasing and have to give the phone back at the end of the lease agreement, or you are paying off the phone to end up owning it. Getting a phone at Best Buy gives you a good choice between lots of different phones and might give you a gift card in return for buying there

No you don't need a charging station but you will need to plug the USB micro to your x box to charge the controller
