Tarantino At His Best (And Craziest)!

Among the reasons I enjoy hanging around Best Buy stores is rummaging through the stack of discounted DVDs with their list price of $3.99 each. Thus, I was so thrilled to find a cheap DVD copy of this 1994 Tarantino classic black comedy which revived John Travolta's career as an A-Lister and placed Samuel L. Jackson on the map as an acting force to be reckoned with. For serious film collectors, this is a must, to be lined up right there with one's copies of "Casablanca" and "The Godfather Trilogy."

The Almost-Forgotten, Underrated Bond Movie!

One of the reasons I enjoy hanging around Best Buy stores is rummaging through the stack of discounted DVDs with their list price of $3.99 each. I am presently reconstructing my collection of James Bond films, but not willing to spend on expensive collector's sets and/or Blu-Ray versions. So, finding a cheap DVD copy of this often-neglected installment in the 007 film series was a steal. 1969's "OHMSS" was the only Bond outing of the then-unknown Australian model George Lazenby. While he obviously still needed to hone his acting chops, he apparently handled the action scenes quite well. The film and plot with its romantic and tragic spin may have been quite ahead of its time for Bond fans back then and would have been an ideal vehicle for Bond actors who also happen to be strong thespians like Timothy Dalton and Daniel Craig.

Excellent Room Speakers At A Great Price!

I've had my current 32-inch TV for about six months already. Since I never attached external speakers, my TV's built-in speakers were starting to wear out and sometimes not even working anymore. Since I had no budget for a sophisticated audio system (such as a sound bar), and given that my TV was in my small bedroom, I felt that what was needed was a good set of PC speakers. The 3-Piece Logitech - Z313 2.1-Channel Speaker System was the ideal choice for my needs and budget. It has been with me for over two weeks now and delivers pretty good sound quality for videos (TV shows, Netflix, DVD movies) and listening to my music CDs.
