Very good, but not perfect

This fan makes a statement with its look, and the principle works well. You won't be blown away by its air flow, but it does the job nicely and smoothly. It is quiet, but not as quiet as a ceiling fan. The oscillation of the fan is a little noisy, making a very mild clunking noise when it reaches full travel. This is probably the most distracting part. Not bad. This fan would be perfect for an office setting. It works well in the barroom, but as a supplement to the ceiling fan. Way better than a box fan or regular desk fan. But for the price, it had better be.

After playing Mario Kart Wii for ages, this game feels like a leap forward. Amazing graphics, interesting track design (especially on the Mount Wario track), nice selection of retro tracks. Online play is chaotic as ever. Between each class, there is a marked step up in the aggressiveness of the other drivers. At 150cc, they are out for blood. Makes it fun. Compatible with about any controller configuration you can think of. I do miss two things from the Wii version. You can no longer stockpile a second weapon while trailing a weapon (totally changes my strategy), and the blue shell now slides along the track instead of flying overhead. This game is a must have for any Wii U owner. It is a system seller, case in point. Looking forward to the upcoming DLC.

I bought this to replace the recalled Fitbit Force. I wanted the display of the Fitbit One more than I wanted the wrist strap of the Fitbit flex. Most of the features carry through, including those I was most concerned with. Like with the Force, the battery lasts for close to two weeks, and charges quickly. It is preferable to the Force, as there is no silicone wristband to stretch, but reading the display is sometimes awkward when it is clipped to your side instead of on your wrist. The social aspect, which allows you to compete with friends that also have a Fitbit adds a fun competitive aspect, as does the badge system. The sleep monitoring function is more cumbersome than on the Force, as you need to remove it from its clip and strap it to you wrist each night. The included strap may be tricky to get the Fitbit in and out of. All in all, it is very useful, and motivates me to take the stairs instead of the elevator, or walk instead of ride to a nearby location. For those that are interested, the trends that it builds on your activity allow analysis of your performance. Easy recommendation.

Wonderful mid level satellite speakers

I bought these to upgrade from an old cheap set of KLH satellite speakers I have had for ages. There was a noticeable rise in the crispness of the sound. I could hear details that I had missed in the past. I have them on universal stands, so the brass threaded mounting hole on the back of each speaker was very useful for that. The glossy black finish is a welcome change from the typical matte black texture, and gives it a classy look. Unfortunately, this makes them a fingerprint magnet, but you won't touch them much once they are set up. Surprisingly heavy for their size.

You can't use it with a 3 way switch set up, as it uses a single contact, but it replaces a standard switch with ease.

How do you get rid of unwanted noise?
It's not really "background" noise as much as it is a screeching when the microphone records sound. I am wondering if there is any way to prevent this, I have tried adjusting the volume settings but the noise remains.
It sounds like you have a feedback loop going on. The microphone may be picking up on its own signal. Try turning the microphone down a little, or position the microphone that it and the speakers/monitors are not pointing toward each other. You may need to move the microphone away from the speakers/monitors. Switching to in ear monitors might also solve this problem.

Can you use a RCA system with Bose Speakers
Yes, as long as your RCA receiver supports 5.1, but you have to route the speakers through the Bose subwoofer. Bose includes wiring for this, but you are able to use your own if you prefer.
