Another Compelling Drama from Derek Cianfrance.

First act is amazing, second and third are still really good but don't quite live up to how I felt about the first hour. The movie is pretty long, although it didn't feel that way to me. I haven't listened to the audio commentary yet, but I still wanted more even after the deleted/extended scenes and the too-brief making of.
I would recommend this to fans of the director's previous film, "Blue Valentine", and people who can get into a lengthy drama.

What's great about it: Great video and sound on Blu-ray, Ryan Gosling is in it, rest of the cast is incredible as well.
What's not so great: The Blu-ray could have used some more special features.
I would recommend this to a friend!
