Any speaker 4-8 ohms can be used. I was told that this is better for movies but that's subjective. I was told Yamaha is better for music but I went with the Sony. I debated them both but I have mostly Sony. I don't think you can go wrong at this price point. Just remember that you may need to watch the volume so you don't blow the speakers. Bose are good but too much power and any speaker can get destroyed.

I don't know if this is what you need. This connects to the small input (3.5 I think) or RCAs so you can play music wirelessly on anything with an audio input like a home radio or old stereo.

I can't understand why you ask. Logically I would say yes since you need to pair with it just like any other Bluetooth device. I would think they are identified differently. I would say you need to call the manufacturer.

21/2 years. Batteries only charge x amount of times. Try new ones. Besides who can't use extra AAs around the house.
