DC fails to strike again.

DC comics has, for many years, had problems making succesful theatrical films. SUICIDE SQUAD is one more example. Based on a rather obscure title, it has no characters that are really very interesting.
With one exception.
Harley Quinn has become one of the shining stars of the DC Universe and she is the brightest star in this film. Played by the remarkably beautiful Margot Robbie, Harley is up to her old tricks while she endearingly kills people and destroys property.
Unfortunately, she is pretty much the only reason to watch this film. Jared Leto's JOKER is interesting but in so little of the film as to make no difference.
The BluRay is crisp with very nice sound. The extras are fine but no matter how good the packaging, it has to hold something and, in this case, there's just nothing therer.

I needed a small-screen TV for Convention use--a difficult item to find in the Christmas season! Best-Buy.Com finally showed me one in an affordable range (albeit more expensive than it was three months ago). TV has worked well although the stand is not well designed and doesn't give as much stability as I would like.

I'm a professional writer--have been for many years. For a long while I've been using a very old keyboard. Why? Because having learned to type on a manual typewriter, I feel that a keyboard must have a degree of feel to allow me to type quikcly and accurately. I saw a keyboard similar to the Razer some time ago and liked the way it felt.. I mentioned this to my wife and she was kind enough to give me the new keyboard as a Christmas gift. I love the feel and tactility of the keys and look forward to uising it for years to come (I'm typing on it right now!) Hitchcock's most famous 'horror' film

Psycho is, without doubt, one of the greatest films of it's type ever made. Alfred Hitchcock took the lessons of European cinema and made a low-budgeted, tightly-scripted thriller that delivered surprise after surprise.
The BLU RAY transfer is first rate, with crisp imagery and great contrast. The extras are quite good (although I wish they'd put the films shot for the Universal Theme Park Hitchcock show out at some point) and the whole package is first-rate. This is one of those films you must own.

I used this AT&T system to replace an older model I had been using for several years. It has good range (I can take the phone some 50 feet into the yard when necessary) and very nice sound quality. The answering system works well and is easy to set up.

Not the best work by Dario Argento

I like Dario Argento's body of work. He's done some very good films over the years. The idea of him doing a DRACULA adaptation was compelling--unfortunately, the film comes up short. It looks great and I'm sure was even better in 3-D, however, there is a lot of mediocre acting in this and, added to the rather hackneyed plot, it brings the overall level of the movie way down.
Asia Argento, usually reliable, is not at her best in this one--and her accent is kind of annoying.
In short, this is kind of fun to watch if you're a vampire movie or Dracula fan but I would recommend it to no one else.
