I bought this as an AC for my bedroom (and maybe bath) to keep as a backup for hurricanes and other outages. It worked okay in my 14x18 bedroom with 9 ft ceilings, but not great. It had more trouble getting the humidity out, but in Houston, maybe that was too much to expect. It did a decent job, just not to the capacity that I expected.

I have a summer home with no Wi fi. My neighbor gave me his password and the signal is very weak. It will only be used a few times a year. Will this give me a stronger signal and do I just plug it in on the wall closest to his house?
