An "okay" 4K experience

Its been 20 years or so since I last saw this film but it still holds up. Great Aaron Sorkin dialogue acted out by great characters such as Kaffe (Cruise) and the Colonel (Nicholson).
As for a 4K blu-ray its not great transfer. This may not be worth the 4K price as I never owned AFGM on regular blu-ray BUT I'm sure its a better transfer. Just not as great a visual experience as other 4K UHD movies available.

A great looking film in great looking packaging.
This 4K disc is one of the best demo discs for 4K UHD I've ever seen. Amazing colors for 2017's best sci fi movie. A fitting sequel to the original.
As for the packaging, this SteelBook is awesome. Matte finish and nice artwork and well worth it to own. Thanks, Best Buy!

Bill Mosley is a special kind of weird. Not a spiritual successor but a pretty good comedic take on the horror genre. Great disc great packaging. Scream factory is very good at horror collectors editions

One of the depalma’s underrated films. John Lithgow is amazing/creepy and the special features on the shout factory collectors addition of raising cane are fantastic. Very interesting background stories.

Season 2 was underwhelming (compared to Season 1, which was epic) and this is completely understandable so some folks need to give this a try. Lots going on. Bezzaredes (McAdams) is a really good character. It looks great on baby blu and this was a fantastic Best Buy Black Friday Deal. Thanks! Also it includes the free iTunes and UltraViolet codes, which was unexpected and appreciated.

Under Siege is a classic and is nostalgic action movie to all children of the 80s as I think this is seen by my generation as the second or third great Die Hard esque subgenre of action movies where the plot is that the protagonist is stuck on/in a ________ and has to fight all the bad guys to get out. This iteration is on a boat and due to that setting makes it very interesting. Seagal is probably his best here and Tommy Lee Jones MAKES this movie great. Love the brutal fight at end in command center of the battleship.
Blu ray quality is kinda "meh" but the cover art on the package is the original VHS box art which in my mind is FANTASTIC. No new updated version but the classic way-it-should-be cover art. Standard blu case.
Definitely worth adding to a blu-ray collection that accepts Steven Seagal. 5/5 Stars!

Tarantino's SWAN SONG!

Kill Bill V1 is a pretty entertaining film which cultivates alot of cool elements from westerns, samurai films, etc. that proves that Tarantino is a great curator of "cool" elements and fuses with his cool dialogue. Its a fun film to watch and this particular blu ray is a pretty good scan too so its LOOKS GOOD! The snow scenes at end look very sharp in particular. The packaging it arrived in was standard but was expected. Great audio/video transfer but mediocre packaging = 4/5 stars. All in all- its worth a poke to pick up and add to your collection.

Fantastic ORIGINAL concept post-apocalyptic future

Snowpiercer is SOLID. Love this concept of a world that's been frozen over but prior to their D-day a select few boarded a train that runs across the world of tracks to perpetually keep its inhabitants alive. But there's varying social classes which clash where the lower class citizens (back of train residents) are tired of being unfairly treated and revolt. Its great fun and visually amazing watching their journey from the back of the train to the front fighting their way to answers and respect. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!
