Yes, you have to change it to full screen.

Can I hook this up to a computer?
My PC doesn't have a DVD drive and I want something that I can pair with it and use it to play games on discs, like The Sims, etc. Excuse my ignorance, but is this the right product, and if not, can someone lead me in the right direction? Thanks.

What if I don't want my standard DVDs upscaled to 1080p?
If I connect the player with an HDMI cable, can I choose for the player to output a 1080i or 720p signal?
Just use the RCA jacks, red, yellow and white.

i want to go from my coaxial cable directly into this player and then hook up hdmi to my tv from this,,,will this work?
