This cable is to provide the ability to pass bandwidth required to a 4K TV from any 4K device. I bought this cable to test it against a competitors cheapie 4K cable. Performance was the same. The Samsung 4K DVD player does such a great job of upscaling a BluRay, we could tell NO DIFFERENCE between a Blu Ray and a 4K disc on a Sony 850. I, therefore, only buy 4K discs when they are on sale cheap.

Hello. I bought this cable on sale a couple of months ago and cant seem to verify if they support hdmi 2.0 or not.. Also is there a difference in quality when it comes to high vs lower price 4k uhd hdmi cables?
I compared the performance of this cable with a $5 4K unit from Fry's and could tell NO DIFFERENCE. I am using the big Sony 850 4K TV and could tell no difference between the upscaled blu ray and the 4K disc. The Sony was indicating that I was receiving 4K resolution too.
