Based on a short story by the late Philip K. Dick, this science fiction-thriller reflects the writer's familiar preoccupation with themes of concealed identity and mind control. Tom Cruise stars as John Anderton, a Washington, D.C. detective in the year 2054. Anderton works for InchPrecrime,Inch a special unit of the police department that arrests murderers before they have committed the actual crime. Precrime bases it's work on the visions of three psychics or InchprecogsInch whose prophecies of future events are never in error. When Anderton discovers that he has been identified as the future killer of a man he's never met, he is forced to become a fugitive from his own colleagues as he tries to uncover the mystery of the victim-to-be's identity. When he kidnaps Agatha (Samantha Morton), one of the precogs, he begins to formulate a theory about a possible frame-up from within his own department. Directed by Steven Spielberg.

One of Spielberg's decent films. Tom Cruise does a decent job in this role and it has some great action sequences. The concepts of the film are interesting and add a good element to the overall film.

The overall plot is basic and there is a need to suspend your disbelief, but this is such a gorgeous movie it all makes it worthwhile. IMO Tom Hardy did a fantastic job as the villain and definitely added to the overall experience of the film.

If you are going in expecting Nine Inch Nails, you will be disappointed. HTDA is much more synth driven, which does sound a little bit like some of NIN later stuff, but still not quite as heavy. If you like Reznor's soundtracks and the GHOST album, you will probably enjoy this album.

Crazy Eyes does feel like a step back towards the heavier days of Filter, but it all seemed to blend together a bit for me. It was good to hear Richard Patrick's back and forth between singing and screeching again.
During a post-Civil War Wyoming winter, a stagecoach bearing a bounty hunter (Kurt Russell), his foul-mouthed prize (Jennifer Jason Leigh), an ex-Union officer (Samuel L. Jackson) and a lawman (Walton Goggins) makes it's way towards Red Rock. The worsening snows force them to shelter at a general store occupied by a caretaker (Demian Bichir), a cowboy (Michael Madsen), Red Rock's hangman (Tim Roth), and an aged Confederate general (Bruce Dern). As the blizzard traps them within-possibly with no escape-resentments, greed, and hidden agendas emerge that might destroy them before the elements do, in Quentin Tarantino's moody and stylish sagebrusher.

Wasn't as good as some of his earlier works, but still has the witty dialog and keeps you guessing on what was going to happen throughout. A solid film.
The third season of HBO's Game of Thrones (based on the novels of George R.R. Martin) continues to follow the War of the Five Kings on its deadly path as Stannis Baratheon (Stephen Dillane) licks his wounds after a humiliating defeat and Robb Stark (Richard Madden) pushes for a risky offensive against the Lannisters. Meanwhile, Joffrey plans to marry Margaery (Natalie Dormer), Daenerys (Emilia Clarke) works to liberate a city whose economy is built on slavery, and Jon Snow (Kit Harington) finds his undercover mission complicated when he falls in love with a woman from the tribe living beyond the wall.

The season felt a bit slower than the previous 2 but the payoff at the end of the season makes it all worth the wait. What a shock if you're unfamiliar with the source material.

Some of the novelty of the first season already disappears after the 2nd season. There is still lots of action, drama, and violence, but the shock factory of season 1 is gone.

The best storytelling is certainly on TV right now and this is one the series that really kicked that trend off. Great beginning to an excellent series.

This was a good follow up to Skyfall but it was a slight let down when compared. It felt more like a classic Bond film and a little out of place with Craigs run. Still a fun action flick.
