Three Classic Kubrick's for $10!

All three classic and incredibly influential. 2001 can be screened dozens of times and still find new things with which to be amazed. Is there a better adaptation of a Stephen King novel than Kubrick's "The Shining"? No. "A Clockwork Orange" still outshines most filmmaker's attempts to shine a light on any modern society and it's ills.

What a Bargain!

Another terrific triple-feature for $10 on Blu-ray! Constantine is an ok film but not like the comic "Hellblazer" (on which it's based) at all. I think "Watchmen" is terrific and really does a nice adaptation of the novel, but that ending is disappointing and doesn't at all capture the scope of what was happening. Great cast (I really think Jackie Earl Haley deserved an Oscar nod here as his interpretation of Rorschach is dead on perfect), great visuals and a surprising score make this an honorable adaptation.

Got this triple feature for $10. all great films! "The Goonies" is a crazy quotable film for kids of the 80's, "Gremlins" is an annual x-mas screening at my house and "Gremlins 2" is highly-underrated; lots of homages to classic films.
