Great add-on to modernize an old clock radio

One of the great features of this product is the line-out jack in the back of the Dot. I placed the Dot on my nightstand and using a $3 cable connected it to my older digital clock radio instantly adding bluetooth and making it a smart device. The ease of just speaking at the Dot to play music or set an alarm or a timer makes it worth the price of admission.

I purchased this device on Black Friday to help with my cooking prowess and to possibly turn me into a master chef. My brother's wife has this Artisan model and successfully continues to use it for at least 7 years all while serving a very large family (5 and counting). I look forward to getting the same use out of my mixer. While I was hoping to find a matte black model in the store, this bright red model will do just fine. Especially since Best Buy matched the price of an online competitor.

While an old product, the MacBook Air is still a great. The only downside to the Air is the lower resolution display. Need a port (other than USB-C) the Air has it. Need a fast SSD, it's got it. I originally purchased my iPad Mini 4 without any case as I felt having to purchase the case and cover separately made the combo too expensive from Apple. Hence, my only 4 Star rating. After not being able to find a less expensive alternative that I liked, I purchased the Smart Cover. This work well for several months until I found the Apple case being offered at a $10 discount at Best Buy. This made the experience of holding and using the iPad amazing. Thin and Quick Backup Drive

This Seagate Drive is double the capacity of my failing Toshiba drive but at least 1/4 as thin. The Seagate drive has performed well so far using macOS Sierra and I expect it to last several years.

Great alternative to more expensive options

I purchased this powered antenna to replace a passive RCA antenna that broke from frequent adjustments. This amplified/powered antenna works perfectly in my situation to avoid constant repositioning of the antenna to view certain channels. When using an antenna as a cable replacement it is always best to start cheap and go up in price and stopping once you can not pickup anymore channels. This antenna fits this approach. I would definitely try this antenna first before moving on to try more expensive outdoor antennas.

As this device originally came to market in 2014, it may not be the best for everyone. However, I purchased the iPad Air 2 for my niece as part of the 2016 Black Friday deals. For the price offered by Best Buy this was a great value. Note that the iPad Air 2 pretty much has the same processor and RAM as the iPad Mini 4 released in Fall 2015.

Light headphones work well w/ the right ear shape

I wanted Bluetooth headphones that would allow me to walk around my apartment without having my phone tethered to my side. These headphones seem to work as intended. The headphones work without clipping sound in my over 1000 square-foot single-story apartment. However, the clipping of audio can occur if I stand too close to the microwave while it is running. The only complaint I have with the headphones is from the use of the earwing adapters as they make my ears sore after about 30 minutes. My ears seem to hurt less if I run the headphone cable over my ear. I believe with the right ear shape these headphones will work very well. The sound is good for Bluetooth and for better bass response I recommend using the silicone ear pads.

I wanted a tablet to use while in the livingroom and bedroom. Something that could be used for internet browsing or watching television via my Timewarner Cable app. This device fit the bill. Especially since I have an iPhone too which allows for easy transfer of tasks between devices. The display on this iPad seemed crisp and brighter than the Air 2 and makes viewing television a dream. Battery life is good and the tablet runs iOS 10 without issue. I had considered the Galaxy S Tab2 but the battery life is not as long, based on the reviews I read. I am happy with this purchase.
