What you have here is a really good film that completes the story set in motion in the series Firefly (boxed set available and reviewed seperately).
We get more backstory on the character River, who is both psychic and a trained assassin. She is being hunted along with her brother by an agent know only as The Operative, sent by the Alliance. They end up aboard the Serenity and from there, the mayhem of the series continues.
The film has lots of action, and a great conclusion showing us the fate of the characters from the all too short-lived series.

Yeah, it's a bit corny but it works. Anyone who has seen this short-lived series knows just how good it is. I initially had my doubts, but after giving it a second try (courtesy of Netflix) I was hooked.
This set is a nice, all-inclusive package as far as the epsodes go. It also includes the unaired ones, a map of the Firefly universe, and a set of character cards.
The follow-up film, Serenity (reviewed seperately and yes, sold seperately) however, is not included, though that would have made for a nice, complete package. Regardless, if you're a fan, it's worth it. If you've only heard of it from, like, everyone else, what are you waiting for?

Loved that the mixing container is plexiglass (for safety). Love the multiple settings and the fact that it's a stainless steel base. Would have been nice if it contained a recipe booklet but at least it included instructions.

I started listening to these guys after seeing their video for Good Life a few years ago. That video is nothing short of amazing and the album it comes from, Waking Up is pretty good. This album preceeds it and while it has some good stuff on it, it's not quite as strong.

Though this is yet another retrospective of sorts, it does include a lot of good songs. The best reason to buy it though, is for the very early material from The Boss' career. You can hear where he came from and certainly where he was headed. A good CD for a fan (new or old) looking for a nice career-spanning set.

Still The Best

Have to love this show. 19 seasons and they still mange to keep it fun and interesting. Love the commentaries. I always watch those first. I'm also happy that they still release each season in the same style box. I hate it when a company makes packaging changes that don't sit well with the previous purchases.
