Bought this for my wife's new S9. She had a Tech 21 on her old LG G5 and liked the grip. Have not really tested the drop protection yet but seems like it should do the job. I did notice that it can pop off a corner if bumped wrong but the fit gives easy access to the edge screen.

I bought two of these for my wife and daughter's new S9 phones. I feel better knowing that the screen is not exposed but after a couple of weeks I am noticing that dust, etc is collecting under the edges so I am guessing it won't be long before the film begins to pull away more. Tough to cover the curved screen edges.
