This is a new version of the "naked frame" it is an improved one because it will eliminate the need for an extra mount, as you can now fit the GoPro with or without the LCD screen. There is a quick release clip on top of the mount to make it easier to insert or remove the camera into the mount, This eliminate the need to remove the mount screw every time you put or remove the camera, as well as the risk of breaking the frame during the process. In other words, there is no opening at the button. The insertion and removal process is still a little tricky, but much quicker than before.
The mount is pricier than the third party options, but considering the better quality of the GoPro original mounts, and the savings from no needing a second mount for the LCD, it is a no brainier.
