I bought this on sale for $70 and it is not bad for the price.
It does not have a lot of volume and tends to be a bit bassy when I am using to view sports. The audio tends to be over powered by the deep bass and background sounds. For movies and regular TV I find that it is not bad for the price.

Great sound for a small device

I checked out all of the portable speakers. Most were around $200 and they had very poor sound quality. Very little bass and mushy mids and squeaky highs. I paid a little more than i wanted but i wanted a quality sound. The Bose are good. Fills my room with a high quality sound.
