Got this for our daughter's new iPod 5th Gen. Fits perfectly, nice construction, very durable. I'd compare this to the Otterbox cases. It is a hybrid (part hard plastic with a soft rubber surround). The case looks nice and the parts fit seamlessly. Nice added touch with the slide cover for the rear facing camera lens!

Can't go wrong with Otterbox. Fits nicely, and protects the new iPhone 6 well. Only complaint is that since it's a hybrid (part hard plastic and part flexible plastic/rubber) the fit between the hard plastic and soft plastic is not quite perfect. Otherwise, very nice case.

Batteries ONLY charge with cable

We have a Nyko charging base and two batteries already. Have 4 controllers, so bought this thinking we could place them on the other base. These batteries do NOT have contacts on the back to charge on the charging base station. The only way to get those batteries was to buy another base with the two batteries.

No. It is just the plastic guard for the edges. Since it sits higher than the 'screen', it should protect from flat surfaces, but if you bump a corner, there is a chance of still damaging the screen.
