I have both Nikon and Canon Cameras and though I wanted the D500, this was more suited to my immediate need. I've done some research but mostly I just love the 5000 series camera and decided to get this for now after a wave took out my 5100 during a beach shoot. I love the camera; phone sync, touch screen, easy to use, more bracketing options for HDR. For the money you can't really beat this camera.

Great for the money

I was really hesitant to give up my old case but when I got my new laptop it wouldn't fit in my old one. I originally got this case because it was the only one the fit and seemed fairly secure but I've really started to like this bag. I do photography so I always have a bunch of hard drives with me and this bag has space for a larger 17.3" laptop like mine or even two smaller ones in one compartment, I have seven external drives in another compartment, and then my mouse/mousepad/ power supply easily fit into the front pouch.
The only thing that really still doesn't do it for my is the strap.. it's awkward to wear/carry and never seems to straighten out.. but not a deal breaker by any means.
