We are so happy to get this washer dryer. Our old one broke and the new one is excellent. granted the first one we had delivered came damaged and the installers damaged it further. Best Buy sent a replacement and the 2nd installers did a great job installing it carefully. the GE Spacemaker Washer Dryer works great and washes the clothes extremely well and dries without any wrinkles. more washing machine capacity (2/3 cubic ft compared to 1.5 in our old machine) with only a 1/4" of additional width.

2nd Installation was wonderful

The first installation of our new washer dryer was a disaster. The machine arrived damaged and then the installers damaged it further by lifting the washer dryer by the top of the washing machine opening, bending it out of shape. Best Buy sent a replacement machine and the installers were conscientious and professional. the washer dryer install wasn't easy, but they made it work. We are grateful for the 2nd pair of installers.

This is perfect and doesn’t take up much desk area. Note: I have a VGA connection for my monitor. It didn’t work initially. I had to download additional drivers via the internet and then my monitor started working. I can now use my laptop monitor and my external monitor as a two monitor setup. I love it!

The closet depth that I want to install this unit is 27 1/2". When factoring in the unit depth (27.375), water supply lines, drain hose and the vent, will this unit fit in my closet. It appears the unit can vent out either side, but can the other lines?
We were pleasantly surprised that the back of the washing machine is indented, allowing for more space than you would think. We were very constrained to a small space. The lines come off the back, but are actually on top of the back of the washer. Our water lines are on the right side of the washer and the hoses connected without a problem.
I don't know the positioning of your dryer vent and water lines. but this fit well in an area where we had very limited space. stop by the store and take a look at the back of the machine and you will get a better sense. Not seeing your closet, there are no guarantees, but If any unit will fit, this is the one.
