Sequels serve one of two purposes: to further the narrative or to pull a cash grab on the success of the predecessor. Unfortunately/Obviously, in this case it was the latter. The plot follows the same set up as before: a group of friends convenes for a night out before their good friend's wedding only to find that they've lost one of their own while under the influence. While there are a slew of new jokes and we're now set in Thailand as opposed to Las Vegas, the movie is a rehash of the first. No one truly grew as a character and the sad attempt to have Stu "grow" by tattooing his face and having a tryst with a transsexual is just going over the top for cheap laughs. Is it funny? At times, yes. Can you live your life without having seen it? Most definitely.

I was really excited about seeing this movie. The cast looked solid and the trailer was pretty hilarious. Unfortunately, it fell very short of expectations though I can't really understand why. All of the right pieces were there but I just didn't find it very funny. The things that did work for me were Jennifer Aniston and Colin Farrell who played outside of their usual roles with Aniston as the lustful boss of Charlie Day's character, Dale, and Farrell as the balding, cocaine-addicted boss of Jason Sudeikis. It was great to see them get out of their comfort zone and do something different, which they both succeed in doing. Maybe I am being a little too harsh on the movie and need to give it another shot. In the meantime, I'll have to say "Pass on this one".

Picked this flash drive up while it was on sale as I am always in need of one. It was a good buy for the price. My only gripe is that the little plastic slide that retracts to expose the connection has a tendency to get stuck quite often. It lodged to the point where I felt like I was going to break the drive. Aside from that, it has done its job.

I have a tendency to ramble so I'll try to keep this short and simple. Clint Eastwood stars as a gruff retiree and military veteran who overcomes his prejudices and the scars of war as he takes his neighbor, a Hmong youth, under his wing after the youth attempts to steal his '72 Gran Torino. The cast is absolutely fantastic as is the story of a man helping to guide a youth into manhood and away from the gangs who seek to add him to their ranks. The movie can get a bit slow but it really is worth taking a look. Definitely recommended.
