Required if you want BB to connect everything

These hoses were required by BestBuy when I purchased my new washer. If you don't buy them, they will NOT connect the hoses they disconnect from your OLD washer to the new unit. It was worth the price of the hoses (about $30 bucks or so) at the time of my washer purchase to get them so that Best Buy would hook everything up.
Its best for home owner's insurance purposes to have the vendor hook this up as coverage for damage won't hit YOUR policy if something goes wrong.

GREAT Washer

I had read a number of reviews on BestBuy.com on this washer and was mildly concerned. The washer doesn't have an agitator. It doesn't use as much water as conventional washers. I was curious to know how well it cleaned clothes, given that it worked with a different paradigm than I was used to when it came to washers. I mean, I hadn't purchased one in almost 15 years, and its somewhat of a big deal when you do so. They're difficult to return if you don't like them.
I was very pleased and mildly surprised with the results. It doesn't use as much water as my old washer. This is good, as we have 7 people in the family, and there's a lot of wash to do. Saving $$ on the monthly water bill is not a bad idea, and I'm good with that. It cleans clothes very well. They come out clean, fresh smelling, and aren't nearly as difficult to dry - including bedding - as with my previous washer. I caught this on sale, too; so I was very pleased over all.
This is something that I would recommend to anyone looking for a washer. I haven't seen or bumped into a downside yet, and we've had the unit for about a month as of this writing.

I went looking for a new wired router after my Linksys Cable/DSL 4 Port Router died. I didn't want just a wireless router as my home network is a combination of both wired and wireless networks. The Netgear - N900 Dual Band Wireless-N Router with 5-Port Gigabit Ethernet Switch fit the bill very nicely. The 802.11AC network is fast. the 5GHz network is even faster. I'm very pleased with the performance of this product and would recommend this to anyone looking for a new wired or wireless router.

Good Tablet, but Woefully Over Priced

MS Surface Pro is a great tablet, but its over priced. At $1000, you end up spending near $1200 after tax and after purchasing a Type Cover. The idea of using this type of form factor in the office for MS OneNote and hand written meeting notes is a GREAT idea and one I wanted for my iPad 1 when I bought it in 2010. However, even though Surface Pro can do this and do this well, it doesn't do it at a price point that is reasonable or competitive with the iPad/ iPad Mini or ANY Android tablet.
Unless this is tax deductible business purchase or unless you simply HAVE to have one, I'd wait until the price drops down to about $599 before I'd consider buying one.

OK keyboard, Lacks Important Keys

The Surface Type Cover is a decent keyboard and an important accessory to get with any Surface tablet. However, it doesn't have a numeric keypad or even a PrintScrn key, so taking screenshots can be tricky, if you don't know how to do it (hold down the Windows logo on the tablet and then press Vol. Down).
The keyboard doesn't have a great deal of travel - only a few millimeters, so if you're looking for a full keyboard experience you might be better off with a different ultrabook or a different keyboard. However, if you're looking for something that will allow you to type while on the go, plus be able to sleep the device when closed while connected, this is a much better choice than the Touch Cover.

Will this work with Hughes Satellite system for rural areas where cable is not available?
This isn't dependent upon cable, per se. It needs an ethernet coonection. If you can put an RJ-45 (a standard) ethernet cable into the device that brings the internet signal into the house, then you shouldn't have any problems. You just sub your Hughes Satellite modem in for "cable modem" and you should be good to go.

Options for adding powder detergent and oxyclean powder
Do I have to use the dispenser or can I add them to the drum either before or after adding clothes
Of course you can add detergent and oxyclean to the drum. You just have to do so before the cycle starts, as the lid locks by default. if you want to add those after the cycle starts, you have to set the lid NOT to lock (if that's even possible) or add before it all starts.

Can I wash a queen size comforter in this washer
Yes. There's no agitator, so it fits without a problem. You can fit up to king sized bedding in this, and it will clean all just fine.
