Good when bought at discount

First off - I LOVE the design. It is sleek and looks very high end, the brushed gold finish is nice and I was impressed with the volume it could create in-store. However, upon use, I have a few grumbles...
The USB works fine, and the AUX was part of the reason I bought it, I even think it syncs with Bluetooth nicely, but no ability to randomize playtracks on a USB is limiting. the AUX is also on the front of the unit, which is ok - but would have preferred the back side (or a second AUX on back with RCA plugs) for the retail price I originally paid.
The sound is good, as I said, but the exposed sub speaker on the bottom of the unit is paper and feels a bit fragile, if you never move it, ok, but the cone is right where your hands are likely to go when moving it around - luckily, I didn't tear the speaker! I assume the speakers hidden behind the front grill are also paper, which cheapens the unit and makes me wonder about longevity.
The remote is ok, a few more features would be good, it plays CDs, but still no random feature...assume it plays mp3 CDRs as well, but haven't tried it.
Overall, it is nice, glad I was able to catch it on sale after I bought it and got a price match. I don't think it was worth retail after I have lived with it for a few months. Still looks great in our meditation room and sounds ok. PS - the different "EQ" settings are mostly garbage.

Sought to replace my dying TV in the bedroom, didn't want to spend a ton of money, and really liked the functionality of my LG 55" in the living room. I was very excited to get this one on sale. I recently dropped cable and went to antenna reception and Netflix/Hulu as my main TV watching options. I have to say, I really appreciate the smart menu and functionality of the LG tvs. Easy to connect to my Wi-Fi, nearly issue-free with launching Hulu and Netflix. The remote is good enough for this price range. I especially appreciate how efficient and light these modern TVs are - very easy to hang on the wall and uses minimal power. Overall, good picture, good smart menu, decent remote, and it met all my needs at half the cost I would have expected to pay. PERFECT!

The power and control

Where would I be without this Smart Choice 6' 30-amp Dryer Cord? I would be sitting here in damp clothes, that's where. Why dryers are sold without a power cord seems to be a big joke on the consumer. (you want wheels with your new vehicle? sir, that's insane) Nonetheless, I decided it wasn't worth the lengthy court battles and time consuming consumer watchdoggery to rectify this situation, so instead I purchased the after-market power supply - and, man, does it supply the power. My dryer seems content - almost purring - with its fresh supply of electron kibbles.

How do I review a hose? I can say that it did its job, connecting the water supply to the washing machine. No leaks, solid connection and appears to feed the hungry beast with enough water to do its job. The machine does a noisy job of drinking from the hose...so maybe a more dignified, high-class hose might do a better job. But I am currently resigned to blaming my bargain basement washing machine.

Returning it - not flexible enough

I have a small laundry room with a door that opens into the side with the washer/dryer. This hose was rigid enough to make it very difficult (I failed) to bend it up into the little space between the back wall and the dryer. The best I could do was to have it sit about 6" off the wall, which blocked the pathway a bit more than I wanted. Went and bought the cheap, crinkled reynolds' wrap flexible hose and it worked much better. Dryer is now about 2" from the wall, and flush with the washer next to it. Looks beefy and durable. It just didn't work well for my application...

A bit bare bones, but looks to be solid

I bought this no frills set up with the matching washer. The washer is solid, runs a bit noisy, and the dryer is very good. Typical mid-level noise of the blower and spinning drum, but nothing terrible. It is a little 'tin-can' in the build quality (no sound deadening, thin walls), and a pair of jeans made quite a racket bouncing its' metal buckle off the walls of the dryer. (Click-clank, click-clank) My guess is some of the pricier models have a bit more sound deadening between you and that spinning drum. Still, clothes came out clean, dry and smelling great. It has all the basic controls I wanted and hopefully will give me the 10-15 years of faithful service I am counting on. I would buy it again in the same tight-budget situation.

Loud but effective

Just recently purchased this washer with the matching dryer and was pretty happy with the price/value. However, it does run loud. It has simple controls, everything you need, not many extras, and it has the old school agitator, which was something I wanted if I was going to stick with a top-load washer. So far my only complaint is the volume at which it runs through its cycle. Given that my laundry room is right behind my living room space and I have tile floors, it makes watching TV while washing clothes a little more challenging...what did Saul just say? I will never know...thank you quiet voice track!

Can this audio system be left on a covered porch during warm months as long as it didn't get wet?
The subwoofer is made of paper - as are the internal speakers (most likely) - so I would say long-term exposure to the outside will ruin them quicker than indoors. Would still think we are talking in terms of a few years of abuse, not weeks or months - as long as those speakers don't get wet.

I haven't bought a sterio in many years. Do you just plug it in? Do i need to add anything special regarding cable, wires etc. for it to work? I want something simple! Thank you
it is a very simple set up - power and an antenna cord (very thin). You can plug in a USB (I plug in a memory stick with mp3s, playback it easy) and it has an AUXillary plug on the front, so you could also plug in something else. The CD player works good and the unit has two small front speakers and a small subwoofer built in - no extra wires needed.
Sound isn't high end, but it can fill a small room.
