But not really. The audio and video quality is nearly the same as the bluray version. I thought that the 4K version would be night and day difference but was a bit of a let down.

What is the range on this router? I need WiFi in a shed 150 feet from my home...
If the wireless signal has a clear shot at the shed (no items in between that may cause interference) you should have signal. You probably won't get the best speeds, but you will have a solid signal.
