I bought this traffic/power cable to be used to recveive live traffic updates instead of using my cell phone as a traffic reveiver.
I tested it and so far it seems to be working fine, we'll have to see when I use it in California.

Gps vehicle mount

Aloha.
The original mount which came with my Garmin gps cannot be used in the State of California, which is where I'll be using this Gps. ("No devices can be attached to the windshield") So, I bought this mount and tried it on my Toyota Tacoma's dashboard. it works fine without any slipping or tipping over at all. However, there is a small vibration, that isn't bothersome to me as I don't have my eyes glued to the screen, and neither should you!!
I would like to say, Thank you very much for a fine product/accessory.

This is the first gps of any kind what so ever.
I'm planning a trip to California this November and being that I'll be driving, I thought it would be nice to have a gps guide me around.
I did some research and ended up with this Garmin drivesmart 61LMT 6.95". My daughter has a 5" garmin LM gps which she uses to drive around the other Islands. She told me to practice using my new gps so I'll be familiar with it's functions. I'm doing that now, and am very impressed at how easy it is to drive to a different location using this gps. As far as I'm concerned, this is a winner!! Thank you very much for such a fine device!!

I have a Garmin 2757, bought a HD digital traffic cable GTM 60 does it have to be tuned to a FM radio station to work? I use it in my 2016 f-150 XLT not sure if it's working? how can I tell if its working ?

I bought a 7" Garmin a few years ago, and did the connection to my computer. There has never been an update to that model in 6 years. I even called to see if there were are available. How can I be sure there are updates to this model
Aloha, on yours, U need to go into settings and look if you need any updates, it should tell you if any upgrades are/should be available.
On mine, since it's the newest version, every time I booth up, it checks automatically if there is or need to update. I hope I've answered your question.
