Good movie for older kids / family

I never read the books, but my kids tell me they left a lot out from the arena. Like I told them though, no movie is as ever as good as the books (except Twilight...they all sucked equally). All in all though it's not a bad movie for watching with your kids.

What's great about it: My kids love it (14 and 19), and I thought it was pretty good as well.
What's not so great: No movie is as good as the books
I would recommend this to a friend!
