Not as good as I thought it would be

I replaced my older toaster with this because I like the bagel setting. It was hard to adjust the darkness of the toast - It was necessary to set it as low as it would go or it would nearly burn. When using the bagel setting, which is supposed to only toast one side, both sides of the toast were toasting. I wish it had worked better because I like the looks of it.
