My Alta performs quite well and I really like its variety of options, e.g., text messages, reminders to walk, etc. I don't like the charger. The tiny pin snapped the first time I used it and it cost $30 to replace.

Have an iPad but need a table w/ a USB port. Windows 8.1 restricts some setups but if you like Windows, this is the way to go. Touch screen is not always responsive so have to depend on external keyboard sometimes. Bought the battery keyboard and like the extended life, even though it adds weight.
