This Acer is very bright, crisp, clean and from what I can tell has very low response delay. At 1080p, it's not going to draw the "serious gamer" crowd who are all too eager to have 4K, but it will still put out a beautiful 1080p signal. I have it hooked up to an "above average" (for late 2016/early'17) via HDMI. Setup was easy, picture is great. Price was fantastic. Not much to complain about.

A great inexpensive handheld for younger kids

My kids were drawn to the 3DS when they saw mom and dad playing NSMB2 on our 3DS XL a while back, and then a few virtual console games as well. Eventually we felt that they were old enough to play the games themselves, but the XL was just too big and clumsy for their hands. The 2DS (which plays 3DS games - Nintendo has never been good at naming thngs...) was perfect - there's no hinge, no headache inducing 3D functionality to worry about, and it's sturdy to boot.
Would absolutely recommend if giving to a child. Older kids/young adults will probably still appreciate the hinged 3DS XLs for their style and functionality.

Fun game that doesn't take itself seriously.

The game is crazy! You play as either a zombie, or a plant. It's a fun parody of sorts of the current modern-FPS. Don't take that as a bash on the genre - the game is a great shooter, just with some fun sprinkled all over it.
Progression through individual characters is a fun thing to keep you occupied while you keep playing.
Garden Ops is the PvZ 'Horde Mode' and it's a ton of fun.
Docked one star for microtransactions. It's possible to get enough coins for the major packs, but it's unnecessarily difficult.

What's great about it: A lot of fun, shallow learning curve, free DLC
What's not so great: Sometimes loading can take a while, microtransactions.
