It is what it is and does what it does. Simplistic, easy to use and stores "stuff". No quarrels on this end. However, if you don't what or require the software that comes loaded on it, simply format it. I prefer ExFAT for storing large files and able to use between OS X, Linux and Windows.

how do i transfer data from phone to drive

Transferring data from phone to wireless drive
I do not have this device, however after looking at the picture I can say that by pressing the wireless button on top activates the onboard wifi server. Then you should be able to connect to the device via your mobile device to send\receive files.

I also located the howto video on Sandisc's site at http://www.sandisk.com/products/wireless/flash-drive/ (it is approximately half-way down the page.
