I bought this soundbar with my new Samsung TV. It took a while to figure out how to make it both power off and on with the tv. However, if I had read the instructions, it would have been much faster :) I did not like the sound that much though. It is just slightly better than the built in speakers in my 8000 series Samsung TV. So I took it back and bought the Yamaha surround sound system instead.

Have 65" Samsung SUHD TV and want to utilize Soundbar. Is a Receiver required or just TV and Soundbar?
No receiver needed. But the sound is just average at best. You'd be better off buying a speaker system that uses a receiver like the Yamaha surround sound system. I took my sound bar back and got the yamaha.

Is the programming reset when batteries lose their charge?
I read a review that said that when the batteries lose their charge, all programming was deleted and they had to reprogram the remote. Is this true?
